DLCCCThe Detroit Lakes Community & Cultural Center (DLCCC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that provides quality experiences to learn, grow and play to Detroit Lakes and the surrounding communities. Since opening, in 2001, it has become an important part of area life. The Center is equipped with a state of the art pool and fitness area that serves more than 3,000 members and the 837-seat Historic Holmes Theatre, which brings in acts from around the world and provides a stage for local entertainers. The DLCCC is also home to an learning center, senior center, childcare pods and more. The construction and renovation project that built the DLCCC exemplifies the importance the community places on enriching the lives for people of all ages and walks of life.
The Detroit Lakes Community and Cultural Center had its 1,000,000th check-in Tuesday, May 21 around 4:00 p.m. Jane Bachmann of Frazee was greeted by employees and received a DLCCC gift basket including a $50 gift card, t-shirt, tote bag, yoga matt, mp3 player, Chamber Bucks and more.
Continue reading "Thank You Members and Guests! 1,000,000 check-ins and counting!!!"The Detroit Lakes Community and Cultural Center is proud to announce the new “DLCCC Corporate Wellness Program.” The program is a unique partnership between the DLCCC and area businesses with the goal of promoting an active lifestyle among employees and the community.
Employees of participating businesses will receive a discount on their DLCCC membership if they check in at least eight times each month. All participants will receive a $5 credit each month they meet the minimum of eight check-ins. The DLCCC is also encouraging businesses to play an active role in the health of their employees by pitching in $5 per month, per employee as well. If businesses contribute, the DLCCC will kick in additional $5. This means that members could potentially save $15 per month, which is nearly 40 percent off the price of a premier single membership.
